Stoll Keenon Ogden’s relationship with Commerce Lexington and its predecessor organizations goes back many decades. The firm has been a continuing participant and significant sponsor of CLX events, including the annual leadership visit, the annual dinner and the golf tournament. Stoll Keenon Ogden is also one of the leading contributors to the Strides Ahead Foundation, which funds CLX’s economic development efforts. SKO is a trustee of Commerce Lexington and one of only a handful of “Diamond Level” supporters of the organization. In addition, Stoll Keenon Ogden attorneys have served in a variety of leadership roles with CLX, including Board and Executive Committee membership and Leadership Lexington “Day Chair” positions. One of SKO’s members is the only person to have served as Chairman of all three of the organizations that merged to form Commerce Lexington in 2002 (the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Lexington United and Lexington Partnership for Work Force Development) and has also served as General Counsel and Vice Chair for Economic Development for Commerce Lexington. SKO’s current Managing Director will begin serving a three-year term on Commerce Lexington’s Board in the upcoming year.

The Chamber’s focus on advocacy, education and business development fits well with Stoll Keenon Ogden’s commitment to the success of its clients and the betterment of the communities it serves. The relationship between SKO and the Chamber is strengthened with each passing year and will continue to be a priority in the future.
