George D. Smith
George Smith, a Member in the Lexington office, has been with Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC since 1999. He is a member of the Real Estate Finance and Development Practice Group, as well as the Equine Practice Group and the Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Workouts Practice Group.
Mr. Smith has received an AV Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating © for his many legal accomplishments. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Smith was a special fund attorney for the Kentucky Department of Labor and a Hearing Officer for the Kentucky Workers' Compensation Board.
Mr. Smith is a member of the Fayette County, Kentucky and American Bar Associations. He is a former moderator and Deacon at Central Baptist Church. He has also been active with the Eastern Little League and the Lexington Youth Soccer Association. Mr. Smith is married with three children and enjoys running, yard work, tennis and UK sports during his free time.
