Andrew joined SKO in 2017 after completing law school. He is a member of the Business Services, Equine, Securities, Tax and Trusts & Estates practices. Andrew has lived in central Kentucky for most of his life and is passionate about the equine industry. He is experienced in business services, including transactional matters, entity formation and regulatory compliance.
In the Business Services practice, I help clients deal with general issues of business formation and compliance, while staying up-to-date with the changing landscape of corporate and general business law. I have an emphasis on state and local tax issues, helping clients remain compliant in a changing legal landscape and assist in representing clients in front of the Kentucky Department of Revenue. I draft agreements for equine clients and stay informed of state and national regulatory developments.
With the likelihood of substantial tax reform, this is an important time for individuals and businesses to understand how changes will impact and affect them. As the equine industry continues to progress and diversify, equine businesses must be aware of and compliant with changing regulatory landscapes.
