Joseph has been with the firm since 1983. He is a member of the Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits practice. His practice focuses on employee benefits, ERISA and deferred compensation, as well as corporate law.

Joseph is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated™ by Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and honored as a Best Lawyers "Lawyer of the Year" in Lexington for Employee Benefits (ERISA) law. He was a member of the legal team that successfully represented the Kentucky Retirement System before the United State Supreme Court involving an asserted violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

Joseph is a member of the Fayette County, Kentucky and American Bar associations. He is a member and past president of the Lexington Employee Benefits Council, a member of the Lexington Rotary Club and a volunteer at God's Pantry. Joseph also has served on the board of trustees of Lexington Catholic High School, including serving on its executive committee for eight years.
