Eileen is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden's Lexington office and has been with the firm since 1981. She is a member of the Trusts, Estates & Family Law practice as well as the Arbitration & Mediation and Tort, Trial & Insurance Services practices. She also organizes the firm's annual Women in Business conference and has served on its management and finance committees.
Eileen's practice focuses on family law, including business and asset valuation and division, pre- and post- nuptial agreements and related issues. In addition to long term care defense, she also practices in the area of insurance defense, including employment issues, product liability, personal injury and workers compensation.
Eileen is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and has served as Chair of the Kentucky Bar's Family Law Section. Eileen is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated™ by Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and honored as a Kentucky Super Lawyer for her many legal accomplishments. She has presented various seminars for clients regarding employment issues, family law matters, and health and wellness initiatives. She is also an experienced mediator for family law, personal injury and civil dispute resolution. She received her mediation training at Harvard Law School and through the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts.
Eileen is a member of the Fayette County, Kentucky and American Bar Associations. She has served on the Editorial Board for Kentucky Bench and Bar since 2000, is a volunteer counselor for the Kentucky Lawyers Assistance Program, serves on the KYLAP Commison and is active with the Fayette County Pro Bono Board. She currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Kentucky Bar Association and is a past president of the Kentucky Bar Foundation Board. To give back to the community, Eileen serves on, and is president of, the Board of the Chrysalis House and is a past president of the Board of the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning. She is also a member of the board of the Wilderness Road Girl Scout Council and a member of the Kentucky Nonprofit Networks board or directors.
In 2010, Eileen was appointed by the President of the American Bar Association to serve as one of 10 national members of the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs.
