Jarod M. Zimmerman

Jarod is an Associate Attorney with the Business Litigation group at SKO. He joined the firm in 2022, when SKO merged with Katz Korin Cunningham where he had been practicing since 2018.

Jarod was a member of the Health Care practice group prior to focusing his practice on Business Litigation. As a member of the health care group, Jarod gained experience in defending actions in both state and federal courts. He has represented contracted medical providers administering services within the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) and defended civil rights and medical malpractice claims brought by IDOC offenders.

Business Litigation: Clients can rely on Jarod and the highly qualified attorneys at SKO to prosecute and defend business litigation matters, including contract disputes, negligence claims, premises liability, intellectual property disputes, and employment matters in both state and federal court. Jarod also serves as local counsel, advising on local rules, customs, and case management.

Prior to joining Katz Korin Cunningham, Jarod served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, where he defended the State of Indiana and its employees in both state and federal court, developing foundational litigation skills via numerous 1983 actions, state and federal habeas claims, administrative hearings, and tort actions.
