Krista is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Evansville office. She joined the firm in 2021 and contributes to the Real Estate and Business Services practice groups.
Krista brings to Stoll Keenon Ogden more than 28 years of experience at local and regional law firms, including her own firm, Lockyear Law, which she launched in 2017. She is an accomplished practitioner in real estate law, including zoning and land use, residential and commercial development, permitting, and leasing. She also guides clients through complex business and personal matters, including business acquisitions, succession and estate planning, guardianships, and probate matters.
A graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Krista has been active in professional organizations ranging from the Indiana State Bar Association to the American Land Title Association. She has also shared her legal expertise through the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Southwestern Indiana.
Real Estate: Krista provides legal counsel on a variety of transactional and litigation-related matters, including purchases and sales, land use and development, eminent domain, zoning and code compliance, property owner associations, subdivision approval, and property taxes.
Business Services: Krista works with other Stoll Keenon Ogden attorneys to support clients involved in business sales, mergers, and acquisitions; the formation of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability corporations; permitting and licensing; and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
