Lynn H. Wangerin

Member, Louisville

Lynn is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden's Louisville office and has been with the firm since 1994. She is member of the Business Services practice with a focus on Intellectual Property & Technology, Equine Transactions, Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities & Corporate Governance and Privacy & Information Security. Lynn spends much of her time reviewing and negotiating information technology agreements including software licenses, ASP and SaaS agreements and consulting agreements.

She also focuses on securities law and has assisted clients in numerous private placements, as well as provided general legal advice to organizations in connection with formation and acquisitions. She has completed several registrations with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Lynn’s familiarity with Kentucky’s Public Benefit Corporation statute enables her to counsel clients considering B Corp status.

Lynn is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and named as a "Leading Lawyer for Business" by Chambers USA for her many legal accomplishments. In 2017, she was recognized among 20 People to Know in Law by Business First of Louisville.

Lynn is a member of the Louisville, Kentucky and American Bar Associations, as well as the Women's Lawyers Association. She is very active within the community, serving as the President of Yale in Kentucky and on the Crane House Advisory Board. She is a graduate of Leadership Louisville and Bingham Fellows. She is also a member of the Leadership Louisville Center, the Venture Connectors and the Association for Corporate Growth. In her free time Lynn owns, rides and shows American Saddlebred and Friesian horses. In addition, she attends cultural events including the orchestra and theatre.
