Matt joined SKO in 2017. He is a member of the Business Litigation and Criminal Law practices. Before joining the firm, Matt served as a law clerk for Franklin Circuit Court Judge Phillip Shepherd.
My focus is primarily in litigation, both civil and criminal. Accordingly, I am experienced in managing the hurdles, both expected and—at times—unexpected, that arise in an active litigation practice. This type of practice is fast-paced and calls for an eye for detail, which I try to provide for clients in my effort to ensure their success.
My experience in navigating criminal litigation allows me to be a resource for clients and for others at the firm. While no outcome can be guaranteed, knowledge of the ever-changing landscape and on-the-ground experience have proven to be assets.
Healthcare and insurance regulation continue to evolve, so I work to stay on top of emerging trends in the industry as well as expected legislative and regulatory developments which may be of note to my clients. If there is one thing to be relied upon, it is that this area of law will continue to develop in the years ahead.
