Patrick is an Associate in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Louisville office. He has been with the firm since 2021 and contributes to the Business Litigation practice group.
Patrick earned his J.D. at the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, where he was a member of the University of Louisville Law Review and the University of Louisville Arbitration Moot Court Team. While in law school Patrick served as an intern for the Honorable Rebecca Grady Jennings, district judge for the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Kentucky. Before attending law school, Patrick earned undergraduate and master’s degrees from Harding University, where he competed in both soccer and track and field. He then spent 12 years as a youth minister, serving students and families in Cincinnati and Louisville churches.
Patrick’s church background gives him a deep understanding of the many challenges faced by religious institutions and other nonprofit organizations. His legal training and experience give him the tools to help clients meet those challenges. Patrick is currently an Associate member of the Louis D. Brandeis Inn of Court.
Business Litigation: Patrick and the other attorneys in the Business Litigation practice offer guidance to organizations facing a broad range of conflicts that lead to lawsuits, arbitration, and settlements. He particularly enjoys solving unique challenges for nonprofit organizations.
Tort, Trial & Insurance Services: Patrick works with clients of all sizes, from family businesses to major corporations and insurers, to defend against a variety of tort claims. When possible, Patrick has successfully achieved dismissal of negligence claims at pre-trial stages of litigation. Patrick and the SKO team have experience thoughtfully managing tort litigation.
