Patrick is an Attorney in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Lexington office. He joined the firm in 2021 and contributes to the Appellate, Business Litigation, Torts, Trial & Insurance, and Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits practice groups.
After graduating from West Virginia University, where he played varsity soccer and was a member of the Big East All-Academic Team, Patrick earned his J.D. at the University of Kentucky College of Law. During law school, he served as Managing Articles Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal. Prior to joining SKO, Patrick served as an associate at a full-service U.S. law firm as well as a boutique, regional law firm.
Patrick represents clients in all aspects of litigation, from initial consultation to final resolution. His goal is to help entities and individuals achieve their desired outcome, whatever that may be, and he prides himself on his creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Appellate: Patrick regularly assists clients obtain a satisfactory resolution in both state and federal appellate courts.
Business Litigation: Patrick and his colleagues advise clients involved in all manner of civil litigation, including cases related to breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and shareholder disputes. They work efficiently and effectively, recognizing that the courtroom is often a place of last resort.
Product Liability: On behalf of product manufacturers and distributors, Patrick defends against allegation of design and manufacturing defects. As part of this practice, he has defended numerous toxic-tort cases, including allegations of asbestos exposure as well as personal injury and property damage resulting from contamination.
Labor, Employment & Employee Benefits: Patrick helps employers solve employment-related problems through proactive counseling, employee training and, where possible, cost-efficient litigation, including alternative dispute resolution. His goal is to provide tailored solutions for client needs.
