Zachary J. Rigg

Associate, Louisville

Zachary is an Associate in the Louisville office. He joined the firm in 2021 and practices with the Labor, Employment, and Employee Benefits group.

Zachary graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 before enrolling at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where he received his law degree. While at WashULaw, he served as staff editor and then executive editor of the Washington University Law Review. He also served as a law clerk at a civil litigation firm in St. Louis and completed legal internships at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission—Office of Administrative Law Judges, at the City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office, and at a Fortune 1000 insurance company.

Prior to joining Stoll Keenon Ogden, Zachary clerked for the Honorable Carrie Bland, Associate Chief Administrative Law Judge at the U.S. Department of Labor—Office of Administrative Law Judges.

Zachary works to ensure all clients, from small businesses to major corporations, receive sound guidance based on current employment law and industry best practices.

Labor, Employment, and Employee Benefits: Zachary and his colleagues counsel business clients on a full range of labor and employment issues, from contracting and wage and hour planning to regulatory compliance and enforcement of noncompete agreements. They work to help clients head off employment disputes, but stand ready to offer support through alternate dispute resolution and, if necessary, cost-effective litigation.
