AMELIA M. ADAMS PRESENTED “SKO U” CLE ON WED., FEB. 24, 12 – 1 P.M. ET

On Wed., Feb. 24, Amelia M. Adams presented the firm’s fifth “SKO U” CLE WebEx for Indiana and Kentucky In-House Counsels.

Through her presentation, “Anatomy of a Bankruptcy Case: Practical Considerations for In-House Counsel,”  Amelia will provide guidance on hypothetical situations such as this one:

It’s late afternoon, and your in-house client just received notice that a longtime customer filed bankruptcy.  If the customer is an entity, the notice likely came with many pages of motions that the Bankruptcy Court will hear in approximately 48 hours.  If the customer is an individual, the notice includes a host of deadlines that must be addressed.  Through this program, in-house counsel will gain a general understanding of the U.S. bankruptcy system and learn practical tips for protecting their clients’ rights, avoiding expensive pitfalls, and negotiating consensual resolutions in bankruptcy proceedings.
