Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC member, Charles R. Baesler, Jr., will speak at the Meritas Annual Meeting on May 9, 2008 in Chicago, IL on the topic of Leveraging Meritas in International Practice. The session will be a dialogue about the experiences of participating Meritas firms in dealing with various aspects of international practice.

Mr. Baesler heads the Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC Immigration Practice Group and practices in the firm’s Lexington office. He represents employers before the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Labor and U.S. consulates overseas to obtain employment authorization for engineers, scientists, professors, doctors, business managers, intra-company transfers and equine workers. He also represents companies based outside of the United States in obtaining investor visa status to facilitate direct investment and transfer of personnel to U.S. markets. Mr. Baesler also advises employers on compliance with federal laws against hiring undocumented workers.
