Stoll Keenon Ogden attorney, Eileen M. O’Brien, has been selected as the Women in Business Champion of the Year 2009 for the Small Business Association (SBA) Kentucky District Office. She has also been named the Regional Women in Business Champion of the Year 2009 for the SBA’s Region IV. Regional champions were selected from state winners in the Southeast region consisting of Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Mississippi. The award will be presented at the Celebrate Kentucky Small Businesses 2009 event on May 13th in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Ms. O’Brien is a Member in the firm’s Lexington office. She practices in the area of civil litigation, family law and employment law. Ms. O’Brien also provides mediation services in the areas of personal injury and civil dispute resolution.
Ms. O’Brien has participated with other members of the firm in presenting at client seminars focusing on various aspects of employment law and liability issues for employers, supervisors and human resource specialists. Currently she serves as one of the organizers of the firm’s annual Women in Business/Women in Law Conference, serves as President of the Board of Directors for Chrysalis House, Inc. and is Chair of the Board of the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning.
