February 15, 2007 – Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce attorney Thomas M. Williams is 2007 president of the Louisville Bar Association (LBA), replacing 2006 LBA president, Olu A. Stevens, Stoll Keenon Ogden member.
Mr. Williams is a Member in the firm’s Louisville office and has served on the firm’s Management Committee since 2002. He assists employers with employment law compliance, defense of employment litigation including ERISA claims and management training in litigation avoidance. Mr. Williams is also a frequent lecturer, trainer and writer on employment law topics including compliance with leave laws, employment contacts, sexual harassment and practical management solutions to avoid litigation and create a productive working environment. He has provided corporate human resource law training for small employers to large manufacturers.
Among numerous other honors, Mr. Williams was recognized as a “Top Lawyer” by Louisville Magazine in 2006 and received the 2002 Award for Professional Excellence by the Louisville Society for Human Resources Management.
