Two SKO Attorneys Elected to Kentucky Bar Association Board of Governors

January 28, 2008 – Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce that Douglas C. Ballantine and Anita M. Britton have been elected to the Kentucky Bar Association Board of Governor’s for the 4th and 5th, respectively, Supreme Court Districts.

Mr. Ballantine is a Member in the firm’s Louisville office. He practices commercial and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Ballantine also has extensive experience handling professional negligence litigation and products liability actions. He is a member of the Advisory Committee on Local Rules of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and a Member of the Kentucky Supreme Court Civil Rules Committee. Mr. Ballantine was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2008, Kentucky Super Lawyers 2007 and Chambers USA 2007.

Ms. Britton is a Member in the firm’s Lexington office. Her primary practice is in the areas of family law, FINRA arbitration and employee mobility cases. She is the current Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Commission and a past member of the Fayette County Bar Association Board of Directors. In 2007, Ms, Britton was honored as a Distinguished Alumna of Centre College and the Centre College Associate of the Year. Ms. Britton was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2008.
