It’s Too Late (Unless You File for an Extension) – Kentucky Delays Electronic Filing for Corporations Again

After missing its “early February” estimate for the availability of electronic filing by corporations, the Kentucky Department of Revenue has announced it also will miss its revised “early March” date. On Wednesday, March 5, 2014, the Department announced it will accept “test returns” for tax year 2013 beginning March 10, 2014. The Kentucky testing system, however, is subject to IRS availability and dates are subject to change. On a related note, direct deposits will not be accepted for tax year 2013.
