Andrew Hopkins is a litigator who helps clients navigate complex disputes with careful preparation, practical judgment, and clear communication. Drawing on more than a decade of legal experience as an Army Judge Advocate, he approaches litigation with a strong command of written advocacy, case strategy, risk assessment, and statutory and regulatory interpretation. His practice is shaped by experiences across trial advocacy, appellate litigation, federal prosecution, internal investigations, administrative matters, employment-related issues, and organizational risk counseling. Before joining Stoll Keenon Ogden, Andrew served for 24 years in the United States Army, including more than a decade as a Judge Advocate. His legal career included roles as a Defense Appellate Attorney, Government Appellate Attorney, Trial Counsel/Prosecutor, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Operational Law Attorney, and Brigade Judge Advocate. Earlier in his Army career, he served as an infantryman and paralegal, including two combat deployments to Iraq.
