Caitlyn, Associate, joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2024 and focuses her practice on financial, tax, and estate planning. As a member of the Trusts & Estates practice group at SKO, she provides families, businesses, and individuals with personalized and comprehensive services.
Prior to joining SKO, Caitlyn honed her legal and financial experience through employment with Capital Group, supporting business operations by consulting on legal, regulatory, and reputational risk. At RenPSG, she served as a paralegal and worked with the legal team to facilitate donor gifts on non-cash assets, assisted in preparation and administration of charitable trusts and obtained the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation. During her internship with the Indiana Department of Revenue, she worked in the Legal Appeals Department to research and draft final determinations for taxpayer-initiated protests. She also worked at Katz, Sapper & Miller in Indianapolis, preparing tax returns and conducting legal research for federal and international tax issues.
Trusts & Estates – The Trusts & Estates Law practice is dedicated to meeting the needs of families, businesses, and individuals. The SKO team offers comprehensive and confidential services, with an understanding that these are often very personal matters for clients and their families. Tax – Caitlyn advises individuals and organizations of all sizes on a range of federal, state, and local tax matters. She has experience in tax controversies, exemptions, audit defense, corporate reorganizations, like-kind exchanges, tax incentives, and general tax planning. Caitlyn also has extensive experience with nonprofit entity formation and compliance, guiding organizations through the process of obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status.
