Eric A. Pagnamenta is Counsel in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Indianapolis office and is part of the firm’s Healthcare practice where he advises clients on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters, including responding to government inquiries, contract negotiation, and related business matters. Eric understands his clients’ needs and anticipates deadlines in order to make their jobs easier.
In healthcare litigation matters, Eric knows that every detail counts when building a defense strategy. He evaluates each case and improves techniques and litigation strategies along the way. Whether refining deposition questions to maneuver a case for summary judgment, crafting a closing argument, or arguing for specific final jury instructions, each step is crucial for obtaining a favorable outcome.
Eric brings a thoughtful, business-focused approach to his work, striving for the best possible outcome in every case, whether that means zealously defending his clients in state and federal court, engaging in motions practice, pursuing summary judgment, or trying a case to verdict.
Before entering private practice, Eric served as a Deputy Attorney General with the Indiana Office of the Attorney General, where he defended state agencies in state and federal litigation, including civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. In that role, he managed more than 60 active civil rights, tort, and subrogation cases as lead counsel, including trying federal jury trials to verdict as lead counsel. Prior to that, he was a civil defense litigator in Chicago.
Healthcare: Eric counsels healthcare clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and litigation matters. Drawing on his experience handling cases from inception through resolution, he helps clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks, respond to government investigations, and develop practical strategies that align legal solutions with operational and business needs.
