Gordon Stock is an associate in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Louisville office and is part of the firm’s Business Litigation practice. He supports businesses navigating complex disputes and high-stakes matters by bringing a disciplined, trial-focused approach shaped by years of frontline litigation and legal experience.
Gordon’s litigation background includes extensive courtroom experience as a military justice prosecutor, including serving as lead trial counsel in several contested jury trials, both violent crime and white collar offenses; during which he managed complex evidentiary issues, witness preparation, and trial strategy.
Before entering private practice, Gordon served in the U.S. Army as a Judge Advocate and infantry officer. As a Judge Advocate he led teams who advised advising senior commanders on operational risk, contracts and fiscal law, labor and employment matters, administrative law, and ethics. He also oversaw the legal review and administration of workplace investigations, including matters involving harassment and other misconduct. Gordon previously served as an infantry officer, where he led multiple organizations, planned combat and training operations, and deployed to Afghanistan.
Business Litigation: Gordon assists clients in resolving business disputes with a practical mindset. Drawing on his experience building cases from inception through resolution, he helps clients evaluate risk early, develop a coherent strategy, and position matters for efficient outcomes while preparing every case as if it will be tried.
