Katie joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2025 as an Associate within the Healthcare and Trusts and Estates practice groups. Drawing on more than seven years of professional experience in the healthcare industry prior to law school, Katie brings clients a unique perspective on regulatory compliance, long-term care, malpractice, medical negligence, and estate planning matters.

Business Litigation: Katie assists clients in resolving business disputes, including business torts and owner conflicts. She combines strong advocacy skills with a practical perspective to guide clients through litigation efficiently and effectively.

Healthcare: Katie’s healthcare work includes long term care, malpractice, regulatory compliance, medical negligence, and employment. Before entering law school, Katie worked in healthcare administration, where she managed skilled nursing facilities and a brain injury rehabilitation program, where she earned her Health Facility Administrator’s license in 2016. During law school, she clerked for the Kentucky Board of Nursing, where she further deepened her knowledge of regulatory compliance and long-term care operations. Today, Katie advises healthcare providers on Medicare and Medicaid regulations, compliance issues, and malpractice matters.

Trusts & Estates: Katie assists families and individuals with estate planning strategies designed to prepare for the future and protect their loved ones. Katie is passionate about helping clients build peace of mind through careful planning.
