Laura joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2022 as Counsel to the Firm. With more than 20 years of legal experience, she provides innovative counsel in a broad range of practice areas to help achieve our clients’ legal objectives.

Prior to joining SKO, Laura spent several years in private practice with a large regional law firm, where she represented national and international banks and institutions in multiple aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including comprehensive due diligence review, title and zoning matters, and legal opinions. Her work includes securitized loans, portfolios, mezzanine loans and warehouse loans on retail, hotel, multifamily, industrial- and mixed-use properties with loan amounts totaling up to $300 million.

Real Estate: Laura specializes in the review and negotiation of complex commercial title documents and title policies, closing deals and issuing title policies, as well as review and negotiation of survey and zoning matters on behalf of lenders and borrowers. Her practice also involves the acquisition, development and disposition of commercial real estate, leasing transactions, and construction projects throughout the United States.

Business Services: From local small businesses to international corporations, Laura assists clients with a broad range of business needs, including all types of contract review, drafting and negotiation, as well as entity formation and governance.

Corporate Finance & Lending: Laura and the SKO team offer a comprehensive range of legal services to multinational, regional and community banks, as well as all other types of financial institutions, commercial lenders, and equity investors. 

Banking Litigation: Laura and the SKO team provide vigorous representation concerning disputes between and among lenders and borrowers, counseling clients at every stage of a lending related dispute, from settlement negotiations through the appellate process.
