Alison Lundergan Grimes Announces Departure from Law Firm to Pursue Secretary of State Candidacy

Stoll Keenon Ogden attorney Alison Lundergan Grimes announced her departure from the firm to pursue her candidacy for Kentucky Secretary of State. Ms. Grimes will now focus full-time on her campaign.

A cum laude graduate of American University Washington College of Law, Ms. Grimes joined the firm as an Associate in the Lexington office in 2004.  She was a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group and focused her practice on intellectual property and complex business litigation.  Ms. Grimes, who served as President of the Fayette County Women Lawyers’ Association, was recently awarded the 2010 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award by the Fayette County Bar Association.
 

The Kentucky primary for Secretary of State will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
