Ernie Williams Honored for Devotion to Public Service

Louisville attorney Ernest Williams was recently honored by the Board of Directors for Childplace, Inc., for his ten years of volunteer service. Mr. Williams began serving as a member of the Board of Directors in 1999, and currently serves as President of the Board.

Childplace, Inc. is a non-profit agency licensed in Kentucky and Indiana to provide an array of services, including foster care, residential treatment and adoption. The organization also operates a counseling center that serves at-risk youth and helps families who need various forms of intervention.

Mr. Williams is a member of the Business Entities and Transactions Practice Group in the Louisville office of Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC. His practice focuses on business acquisitions and dispositions, business organizations, distribution agreements and supply agreements. Mr. Williams has received an AV Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating ®, is recognized by Chambers USA, and has been rated as a Best Lawyer for his many legal accomplishments. He has represented buyers and sellers of businesses, including asset acquisitions, stock acquisitions, mergers and establishment of joint ventures. He has also lectured for the Louisville Bar Association and Lorman Education Services Seminars.
