In the following video link, historians and ABA leaders, including SKO’s own Gene Vance, discuss the Magna Carta’s enduring legacy and the ABA’s plans to honor the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the great charter in 1215. In addition, the ABA Division for Public Education, with the support of the Magna Carta Trust, has launched a new website, “Magna Carta: Icon of Liberty.” The site, www.iconofliberty.com, tells the story of the significance of Magna Carta through images and multimedia components, including an interactive timeline.
