SKO Attorney Named New Family Law Chair

Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Eileen M. O’Brien is the new Chair of the Firm’s Family Law practice group.

Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Family Law practice group draws upon its members’ backgrounds in commercial and civil litigation as well as life beyond the courtroom to provide much needed compassion and experience in handling complex family law cases. The members of the practice group render advice on a variety of family law issues, including dissolution of marriage, post-dissolution planning and enforcement, negotiating and drafting pre- and post-nuptial agreements, paternity, grandparents’ rights, divorce taxation, child custody and support, guardianships, elder law and adoption.

Ms. O’Brien has been with the firm since 1981. She has been actively involved in firm leadership throughout her career with the firm, helping to plan the annual Women in Business seminar each fall. She is also actively engaged in the community, serving on the Editorial Board for Kentucky Bench and Bar since 2000. She is a volunteer counselor for the Kentucky Lawyers Assistance Program and is active with the Fayette County Pro Bono Board. She presently serves as the Vice-President of the Kentucky Bar Foundation Board. Ms. O’Brien also serves as the President of the Board of the Chrysalis House and the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning.
