Louisville Magazine has honored Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC as one of the top places to work in its Best of Louisville Employer Awards.  Eight companies were honored with a Best of Louisville Employer Award.

The firm was chosen in part because of the employee-centered initiatives it has implemented, including paying for health screenings for all employees and forming a wellness committee to promote healthy living and physical fitness.

“It is an honor for Stoll Keenon Ogden to receive such an accolade,” said David Smith, Managing Director. “Our employee satisfaction is very important to the firm.  We really strive to create a personally satisfying and professionally rewarding workplace culture.”

To determine the winners, an independent panel evaluated the extensive research compiled on each nominee.  Employers provided information about growth opportunities for their workers, benefits and workplace flexibility programs, diversity hiring and other factors. Employees were also anonymously surveyed about his or her view on their company such as growth opportunities, workplace engagement, flexibility, diversity, leadership from management and other factors.

Stoll Keenon Ogden has continually worked to move its workplace toward excellence.  This year, the firm ranked first in the large-size employer category for Best Places to Work in Kentucky, by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

“Providing quality service to our clients is our mission, and having staff who are engaged and valued makes that easier. We try to structure our benefits to enhance employee satisfaction and maintain our status as one of the best places to work in Louisville, as well as the entire state,” said Denise Wilson, Director of Human Resources.
