Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce that the firm has been chosen as a finalist for the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” 2011 competition. This is the 5th consecutive year that Stoll Keenon Ogden has been a finalist.  In 2010, the firm was ranked the number one large-sized company to work in Kentucky.

“This is an honor for our firm to be considered as one of the top places to work for yet another year in a row,” said David Smith, Managing Director. “We were humbled to win the award last year and are honored to be a finalist this year. We continue to work to create a personally and professionally satisfying and rewarding workplace culture.  As always, our staff is dedicated to the mission of our organization. Everyone works hard to put our clients’ success first.”

The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management state council and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce host the Best Places initiative each year to encourage companies across the state to move their workplaces toward excellence. This awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Kentucky, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.  The Best Places to Work in Kentucky 2011 list is made up of 65 companies.

Winners from across the state are selected from two categories – small/medium companies with 25 to 249 employees and large companies with 250 or more employees. The selection process is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey. The ranking of the 2011 winners will be announced at an awards dinner April 20, 2011.
