Felisa is an Associate in Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Lexington office. She joined the firm in 2021 and belongs to the Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring and Business Litigation practice groups. She prides herself in taking time to listen to her clients and understand their needs in order to develop strategies aimed at solving their difficult financial and legal situations. Felisa understands what is at stake for her clients, and she is dedicated to serving their unique challenges.
Prior to becoming part of the SKO team, Felisa engaged in private law practice focused in bankruptcy, debtor/creditor relations, and other civil litigation matters. She has also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable David L. Bunning, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Tracey N. Wise, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky, Felisa earned her J.D. at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where she was also elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, she served as Senior Staff Editor of the Kentucky Law Journal.
Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring: Felisa offers skilled guidance in all insolvency-related matters. She has represented individual debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and real estate lessors in chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy cases. She also has significant experience representing individual debtors and creditors in state-court foreclosure proceedings. These experiences make her a strong asset in all debtor-creditor relations matters.
Business Litigation: Felisa assists clients with highly intricate civil litigation disputes, supporting them through every phase of a dispute, from investigations to preliminary negotiations to litigation. She works to provide strategic advice to help her clients achieve their desired results efficiently and effectively.
