Will Cartwright is a member of Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC’s Business Services practice and is based in the firm’s Evansville office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial lending, real estate transactions, and general business counseling. He represents businesses, financial institutions, developers, investors, and business owners throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and the surrounding region in a wide range of transactional matters.
Will advises clients through all phases of business transactions, including strategic planning, due diligence, negotiations, financing, documentation, closing, and post-closing integration. His experience includes representing buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, lenders and borrowers in commercial finance transactions, developers and investors in real estate projects, and business owners in corporate governance and operational matters.
Drawing upon a practical understanding of the commercial considerations that drive business decision-making, Will works closely with clients to structure transactions, manage risk, and achieve business objectives efficiently. His practice encompasses advising closely held and family-owned businesses, financial institutions, and management teams on matters involving business growth, succession planning, expansion, investment, and long-term strategic planning.
A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, Will maintains strong ties to western Kentucky and the broader regional business community. He regularly collaborates with attorneys across SKO’s multi-state platform to provide coordinated counsel on complex business and real estate matters affecting clients throughout the Midwest and beyond.
Will’s professional interests include economics, business history, and public policy, areas that inform his perspective on the legal, regulatory, and market forces impacting business operations and transactions. He is committed to providing practical, business-focused counsel and developing long-term relationships with clients as a trusted legal advisor.
