Jason joined SKO in 2017 from the merger with Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald & Hahn, LLP.

Meet Jason

My Focus

Business Litigation: My practice focuses on advising businesses about business formation, sales of assets, handling shareholder disputes and company dissolution. To help businesses and individuals reduce taxes associated with their properties, I prepare appeals of real estate tax assessments. To help contractors and subcontractors collect payments owed, I draft and file mechanic’s liens and personal liability notices; when necessary I initiate litigation.

 

Corporate Finance & Lending: I represent banks, finance companies, businesses and individuals and assist them with documenting loans, resolving loan workout issues and undertaking litigation to protect their interests.

 

Eminent Domain & Real Estate Litigation: To facilitate expansion and improvement projects, I help utility companies acquire easements through negotiation and condemnation proceedings.

 

Real Estate: I represent my clients through every aspect of real estate purchases, sales, leases and exchanges. I draft and negotiate purchase and lease agreements for industrial, commercial and residential properties. My work involves examining title searches, issuing and reviewing title insurance commitments, reviewing environmental due diligence and undertaking other risk assessments.  I am also involved with deferring real estate taxes through 1031 exchange transactions.  I prepare petitions and attend hearings for rezoning, variances, special exceptions and land use approvals.

Businesses and individuals count on their lawyers to move quickly, efficiently and effectively to solve their legal needs.
