Ted joined Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Evansville office as a Member in 2019. He is part of the Business Services practice group at SKO and concentrates primarily on corporate transactional law. Ted is also active in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions, Real Estate, Estate Planning and Energy practice groups.

Ted provides effective representation for clients that spans a broad range of business activities, from corporate structure and organization on the front end, to the eventual succession planning or sale of business.
In the area of Mineral & Environmental Law, Ted has helped clients navigate complex transactions involving mining developments and energy resources. He also has considerable expertise in Real Estate Law and consults on title examinations, leases, and lending documentation.
Ted’s commitment to the community is reflected in his leadership roles with Salvation Army, the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation and the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (“EREP”). His prior roles have included serving as officer and director of the Wesselman Nature Society, Junior Achievement of SW Indiana, the Vanderburgh Community Foundation, the Old Courthouse Foundation, and Evansville Bar Association.
Business Services: Ted helps corporate clients of all sizes address challenges and accomplish planning goals. He drafts legal agreements, assists in the negotiation of transactions, and advises clients and their in-house counsel on growth and risk-mitigation strategies. Ted is experienced in a wide range of corporate issues including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, stockholder agreements and operating agreements. In addition, Ted has developed a niche specialty in ESOPs, serving as corporate counsel to seller, trustee counsel and/or lender counsel in various ESOP transactions.
Mineral & Environmental Law: For oil and gas producers, as well as coal companies, Ted offers his assistance with complex issues concerning land titles and mineral rights ownership.
Real Estate: Ted represents solar companies, buyers and sellers in sophisticated transactions involving all manner of property in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. He has vast experience in the documentation and negotiation of real estate transaction agreements, including leases, 1031 exchanges, purchase and sale agreements, and lending documentation.
