Final Gallery Hop of 2011 on November 18

Lexington, KY, November 10, 2011 – LexArts encourages arts patrons to attend the final
Hop of 2011 on November 18 from 5pm-8pm. This will be a perfect chance to get a
jump start on holiday shopping with hundreds of artists displaying original works
throughout Lexington.

“Gallery Hop is one of Lexington’s most popular arts events,” stated Jim Clark, President
& CEO of LexArts, “but it is also a great way to support local artists and the galleries that
promote their work. “

ArtsPlace Gallery will present Editions, Ltd. , featuring the iconic work of Brian and Sara
Turner, otherwise known as Cricket Press. Their work is not only instantly recognizable it
embodies the spirit of Lexington’s creative energy.

Also on view will be a number of limited-edition prints commissioned by LexArts over the
past 20 years including works by Elizabeth Foley, Helene Steene, Jim Brancaccio, Twyla
Martins, Alex Brooks, Clay Wainscott, Tom Unrug and Cynthia Ryan Kelly. At the close of
each Fund for the Arts Campaign, donors of a certain level are presented with a
special print as a “thank you” for their support of the arts. For a limited time only, these
prints are being made available to the general public. All proceeds from the sale of
these prints will go to support LexArts Community Arts Grants.

“At this time of the year,” Clark stated, “we wanted to show work that was fun and
