SKO Announces New Land Use & Zoning Attorney to the Firm

Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Bruce Simpson Jr. has joined the firm’s Real Estate Finance & Development and Litigation Practices as Counsel to the Firm, and will work out of the Lexington office. Mr. Simpson’s practice will focus on zoning, land use and litigation.

For more than 20 years, Mr. Simpson has represented people, organizations and businesses in a variety of land use matters throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.   His work is focused on representing owners and developers in land use, zoning and real estate matters, but he also maintains an active civil litigation practice.

Mr. Simpson is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America in addition to being recognized as a Super Lawyer in Kentucky.  He is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education programs on land use issues.  He also has taken many leadership positions for a number of central Kentucky civic organizations and was past president of the Fayette County Bar Association. 

Currently, Mr. Simpson serves on the board of Bluegrass Tomorrow and serves as president of the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass.
