Stoll Keenon Ogden and CreoSalus are celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship this fall with a new co-sponsorship of IdeaFestival, a dynamic event known for encouraging bold ideas and breakthrough thinking. Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer; IdeaFestival Founder Kris Kimel; David Smith, managing director for Stoll Keenon Ogden; and Jim Geisler, CEO and COO of CreoSalus, will help kick-off the event at an opening reception at 21c Museum Hotel on Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

IdeaFestival serves as a springboard for high-speed innovation, product development and creative endeavors. Designed to inspire, IdeaFestival brings together more than 40 presenters to share their experiences, phenomenal ideas and achievements with an audience that is diverse in backgrounds, knowledge and perspectives.

“Stoll Keenon Ogden wanted to support IdeaFestival because of its significance to Kentucky and the city of Louisville,” said Smith. “IdeaFestival demonstrates, to a global audience, the state’s commitment to innovation and entrepreneurialism. It also offers Kentuckians a unique opportunity to engage in a vibrant exchange of ideas with each other and influencers from around the world.”

IdeaFestival attendees include entrepreneurs, business and community leaders, and young professionals looking to expand their networks of influence and apply knowledge in new ways. The Festival also is leveraged by leading companies to nurture and develop talent and spark new ideas among employees with varying levels of experience.

“IdeaFestival is honored to partner with Stoll Keenon Ogden and CreoSalus this year,” said Kimel. “The opening reception is always a special occasion for us because it sets the tone for the event. We have no doubt that the 2011 IdeaFestival will be the most impressive and inspiring experience yet.”

IdeaFestival will take place from Sept. 21-24, 2011, at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. The event promises an impressive line-up of presenters who will showcase, discuss and connect important ideas in science, the arts, design, business, film, technology, education and much more.
