Todd is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden's Lexington office and has been with the firm since 1993. He is part of the Appellate and Tort, Trial & Insurance Services practice groups. He focuses primarily on complex litigation cases involving long-term care defense, personal injury, title and real property disputes, defense of toxic torts, sexual assault and abuse, fires and explosions, professional negligence, Fair Debt Collection Practices and insurance matters.
Todd covers broad territory on behalf of clients that goes well beyond the expertise he brings to different types of disputes. He has familiarity of all levels of the state’s judicial system and has offered strategic council through every phase of legal proceedings. He has served as lead counsel on several multi-week jury trials before federal and state courts, including the Kentucky Court of Appeals and Kentucky Supreme Court.

As further testament to his strengths as an appellate and trial attorney, Todd serves as Kentucky membership chair for the Defense Research Institute (DRI), an international membership organization of lawyers involved in defense litigation. He is also the communities chair for DRI’s appellate subcommittee. Locally, he serves on the board of directors for Kentucky Defense Counsel and is chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Kentucky Bar Association.
Appellate: Todd has substantial experience in representing both appellants and appellees. Because of his success in this area, he is often asked to represent clients in matters for which another firm handled the underlying trial court litigation.
Tort, Trial & Insurance Services: Representing clients in all aspects of litigation, including appeal when necessary, Todd works to resolve matters in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.
